About
I’m Jack.
You’re not hiring a team, you’re hiring me – the one who actually builds it. No layers. No handoffs. I build it, I document it, I hand you the keys.
IBackground
I came up through finance,
not tech.
I ran compensation for a national insurance company – 740+ people, up to $7.8M a month, one person responsible for all of it. Found six-figure errors nobody knew existed. Rebuilt the entire engine from scratch.
That’s where I learned what a good system looks like: quiet, reliable, and understandable by anyone who opens it up.
Somewhere in the middle of it, I developed a passion for AI – not the hype, the architecture. Taking something messy and manual and turning it into something that runs itself. The moment a system clicks and just works – that’s where I find my drive.
IIWhy I do this
The AI industry builds dependency.
I think that’s wrong.
The tools are good enough to genuinely help small businesses now. And nearly every service is using that to lock you into a subscription – your system on their platform, behind their login, billed monthly forever. The longer you stay, the harder it is to leave. That’s not a bug. That’s their business model.
A small business doesn’t need another monthly bill it can’t cancel. It needs the thing built right and put in its own hands.
I’d rather earn the next project than trap you in this one.
IIIHow I work
One client at a time
No juggling, no splitting attention. When I’m building yours, I’m building yours.
Honest about fit
If AI is the wrong tool for what you’re describing, I’ll tell you. That answer is free.
Done means done
Tested, documented, yours. When something is hard, I say so. When it’s finished, it’s finished.
Tell me what you’re dealing with.
A conversation, not a pitch. I’ll tell you what’s possible.
